A friend if mine posted this on Facebook and apparebtly protesters are blocking lanes in Boston...they're said to be on the Mass Pike or making their way over. Really?
Politics and such aside, what good does inconveniencing the public on a busy travel day actually do? Come on.

Waiting for a very impatient person to just go full speed through them. Why not protest in a place where they can actually make a difference and be heard, like some sort of building, rather than standing like a bunch of assholes holding hands? I drive through those tunnels as fast as I can so it doesnt cave in on me. No sense blocking traffic there. This is just idiocy. No matter your take on the event that spurred this these assholes need to stop inconveniencing other drivers with this crap. It is only peaceful until you get some boston cabby breaking heads

Same on I-75 in Detroit, and they were either guided off the freeway or arrested, and then people "marched" to a Detroit precinct demanding that the people taken in be released for something that clearly wasn't out of line, or stupid.

They did the same thing on the Shoreway in Cleveland yesterday. It was only a couple dozen people so the Police Chief and some officers followed out to the road and let them protest. They were being civil about things and didn't cause trouble (Other than the massive traffic jam they caused during rush hour) so the police just let them be.. About 45 minutes later they left and went downtown to protest some more (Where they initially started).
The Shoreway is Route 2:

Yupp, got full time from my internship here and didn't want to commute at least 45 minutes everyday anymore. I'm still back all the time though.
